CONTRACTING Q&A:
Do I fill out the Agent or Agency
contract?
You only need to complete the Agency
contract if you have a corp., LLC, or some other business form and will be
having your commissions assigned to a tax ID other than your social security
number. If you contract as an Agency you will need to provide a valid
state insurance license for you and your agency. If you are contracting as
an Agency and have agents or business partners that will have their commissions
assigned to the agency send us an
email so we provide you with additional forms.
What do I need to include with my
signed and completed contract?
For those carriers indicated please
include a copy of your current E&O declarations sheet. If you wish to have
your commissions direct deposited include a voided check (some carriers require
direct deposit). Finally, please include a copy of all licenses for states
you wish to be appointed in. If submitting multiple contracts only one
copy of these items is required.
Where do I send my contract?
Disregard any instructions on the
contracting to submit directly to the carrier. Submit all contracting by
fax to 888-742-4368 or by email to
info@lifeagentsalliance.com.

What if I don't see the carrier I
want contracting for?
This is not a comprehensive list of
all of our carriers and even if we don't have a contract with your favorite
carrier we can always get one. Please
email us if you have any
contracting questions or recommendations.
What if I want to switch my
contract to Life Agent's Alliance from another wholesaler?
In most circumstances if you have
been contracted for less than six months or if you have written business under
your existing contract within the last six months you will need a signed and
dated release in addition to a transfer form or new contracting paperwork to
move your contract. If your contract is longer than six months old and you
have no production for the last six months you only need to complete a transfer
form or new contracting depending on the carrier.
What does "E&O" mean?
This carrier requires E&O usually
with a $1,000,000 aggregate.
If I don't have E&O where can I
get it?
